2008 Class Schedule
As we further develop our facility we will be allowing individuals and organizations the ability to conduct tactical training courses for the up and coming operator who wants to learn how to get it done!

These courses will not be provided "by" T.A.C but "at" T.A.C and conducted by current or prior Law Enforcement or Military personnel.

These will be great one day instructional courses that will be designed to teach players how they do it in the real world and are a great thing for new teams just starting out or for teams that want to enhance their skills on the field.

Course content will be reviewed by T.A.C staff to insure its criteria meets our safety standards but plan on walking away with greater knowledge and new confidence in your game.

(If you are interested in conducting a course please give me a call and set up an appointment to discuss the arrangements.)

Close Quarters Combat: Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT)

Close Quarters Combat instructional software helps teams comprehend and understand various tactics, techniques, and procedures of urban combat using diagrams, photos, animation and interactivity.

Information and resources used to develop this program have been evaluated, modified and approved by professional soldiers with first hand knowledge and expertise in Military Operations in Urban Terrain. Experience has helped develop an extremely useful training aid for all units and go beyond dry Field Manuals and PowerPoint's.

Close Quarters Combat instructional software examines:
  • Principles and Fundamentals of Precision Room Clearing

  • Strong Wall / Opposing Corner Precision Room Clearing Techniques

  • Clearing both center and corner door rooms for 4, 3, and 2 man teams

  • Reflexive Fire: Stance and Ready Positions

  • Aiming Techniques: CCO and Iron Sights

  • Breach and Enter: Ballistic (Shotgun), Explosive (Demolition), Mechanical Breach

  • Grenades: Stun (Flash bang), Concussion (Overpressure), Fragmentation (Frag)

  • Actions at the Point of Entry: Path of Least Resistance

  • Hallway Clearing: Formations and Movement through Intersections

  • Room Clearing Considerations

  • Verbal Commands and Signals

  • Team Movement and Formations

  • Movement Around Corners: Pie-ing a Corner

  • Clearing Stairwells and Staircases

  • Individual Weapons Control: Safety, stance and movement

  • Urban and Close Quarters Combat Skills

These presentations, along with other instructional software were developed for the specific purpose of improving Close Quarters Combat training techniques by using visual aids, animation and interactivity.

This presents procedures which could be employed, but there is no “correct answer” to military operations in urban terrain. It outlines examples, known practices and techniques, not the right and wrong way.

Information and resources used to develop this program are approved for public release, distribution unlimited, freely available publicly, and is in no way or form classified or secret material.
